Dr. Christine Darr

Medical Director

Dr. Christine Darr is a pediatric emergency physician who sits on the CarePoint board and is the Medical Director of the Pediatric Division, which is a title she has held since 1999. In addition, she is the Medical Director of the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children Pediatric Emergency Department. . Dr. Darr is board certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine and General Pediatrics. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Emergency Physicians, among other medical societies throughout her career.

Dr. Darr attended Marquette University for her undergraduate degree, and then continued on to Rush Medical College, where she received her Doctor of Medicine. Prior to relocating to Denver, Dr. Darr worked at the University of Chicago hospitals and clinics, as well as Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Her Denver career path began at Rose Medical Center in 1990. Since 1996, she has been an integral part of the Pediatric Emergency medicine program in the HealthONE hospitals in the Denver area. Dr. Darr is a 5280 Top Doctor in Pediatric Emeregency Medicine for 2015. She has been a consecutive award recipient every year since 2010, along with receipt of the award in 2007.

In her spare time, Dr. Darr likes to garden, ski, bike, read, cook and spend time with family and friends. She and her husband Glenn have been married for 29 years and their children are now 27, 24 and 20 years old. Colorado has been a wonderful place to raise a family!
